I had never paid attention to this before, but on my "after start" mpg screen, when I first start up the car and it just idles, the mpg readings keep droping, sometimes to single digits. After I get on the road,however,the mpg starts to increase to normal high 20's range. Then I stop and idle and the mpg begins to drop back.

is this normal?
