Default Stone Chips

Does anyone know of a cheap and effective way to stop or fix stone chips? I don't want a car bra nor do I want to use the 3m film, or pony up for a new paint job. If anyone has some answers, please let me know.

Try some factory touch up paint, if applied correctly it works very well.

I just did the chip/scratch thing with factory touch up paint and it's worse than before. What is the right way? Clod Ron

You have to be very careful and not apply too much paint. It should just fill the chip in. Use as little paint as possible on the brush when applying, you will find it fills them in nicely and hides the chips well.
