When I start the car, everything moves to the memory position except the steering wheel. Since the problem has started, a clicking noise has also started in the dash. I'm not surethat the two are related, but it sounds to me like the steering wheel is trying to move into place, but something is stopping it and thus the clicking. Any ideas?

 

you have a broken rubber piece orshaft ill call it.. not sure of the name,and you lose steering column adjustment up and down i believe, but you can still move wheel in and out. they are a bitch to replace.
