Sirius Satellite Radio
I just got a great deal on a Sirius Satellite system reciever and docking station.
Anyone else have Sat Radio on their benz? I'm wondering how hard it's going to be to mount the docking station and run the antenna magnet.

RE: Sirius Satellite Radio
I once tried to install my 6-Disk CD changer on my 2001 C240 only to find out that I would not work, even after I did all the "fiber option" connections properly according to the deailed instructions from the E-Bay vendor that sold it to me. The central received never saw it even though it had power and was connected via fibre.
I ended up going to the dealership to have it installed and have the receiver programmed to recognize it.
I'm guessing you will have to have a dealer install it for you. If you try to do it yourself, you could end up damaging the electrical system, which due to your not being a certified technician by MB, would not be covered under any warranty you may still have. I just tried to jum start my 2001 C240. It did not work. I got a new battery. I worked but, some parts of the the electrical system got fried. The car is at the dealership today being repaired, thankfully, under my 100,000mi Starmark Warranty.
