Did the 05 C230's come with a lid/cover on the cup holder?
The silver tape on the rim is peeling off and it looks like
Crap. Would like to fix or hide this minor problem.

 

Covered by MB warranty. Dealer can fix really easily....

BTW - this is a good reminder - take advantage of your warranty! Little things like this are covered - so before it expires take care of these things!!

I may find out today that it is not - I shouldn't be so quick to spout off. Friday at the end of day at the dealership I was speaking directly to the mechanic, not my service advisor (so a big flag here) and he said that's an easy fix and would be covered off by warranty.

The tape in my '06 230 cupholder is peeling.....should be fixed today along with all my suspension issues. I'll let you know what the bill looks like!

Confirmed.....my cupholder repair was covered by the factory warranty. Done and done!

mine also replaced under warranty. same with the center console cover (would not stay on hinges).
