Any suggestions on replacement shocks for a 99 C230 Sport? Best price? Tips on replacement?

Hi, Bro; check www.benzparts.com; they show several options for the C classes (heavy duty, sport bilsteins, and Monroes.) At least this way, you can compare your options. I'm about to change the shocks on my C220, and need the same information. I may go with the sport Bilsteins, which is what they used C36 AMG. I'd expect a stiffer ride with better handling, with some sacrifice in smooth ride. But I want to check the springs to make sure they are the same, before changing the shocks. The website lets you do this.

Let me know if you find out any recommendations. I looked, and consumerreports seems not to have ever done any comparison of shocks.
