How much does everyone thinkis it for a service A for a 2000 c280 at a independant shop? It just turned 70,000 miles and the one wrench(Service A)showed up so it goes in this Friday. What is done on a service A for a C Class?

 

oil change, check all tires and pressures including spare tire, lubricate door latches and roof, run diagnostic, check over car. all you really need is an oil change. the other stuff they do is basically checking over your car and is really not necessary if you take care of your car. but it is good to get an idea of whats wrong with the car at the dealer sometimes cause they do know your car better then most shops. but its just a glorified oil change.

 

It will be 250 $ penalty if you go to a dealer

I mean they charge 250 $ in IL for Service A and 520 $ fot service B.

I got them done from dealer. But really I would say do not go to them, they do nothing, they just do some useless things which do not even want to do. Next time I am not going to them 101% sure.

NO NO. No dealer for me. I have an Indepedant shop whos does it for me in my town. I also know everyone that works there and have been friends with the owner for many years.

 

$210.00 For Oil change, diagnostic check, tire rotation, oil filter and check the air cabin filter because it makes a thumping sound when the car first starts. This was at an Independant shop
