Question Rim size 1998 C280

Hey guys I got a question for you. I have been wanting to replace my OEM rims and tires on my C280. I found a beautiful set of 16 inch OEM Mercedes rims and was wondering if changing the size will affect anything on the car like the ABS, Speedo or anything like that. Also going to replace instrument cluster and read on Ebay that if you do replace it you might have to take it to Mercedes to get programmed. Is there any truth to that? The only reason why I am changing the cluster is the odometer stays on all the time hence if I dont drive or start it everyday drains the battery enough not being able to start it. Have been looking for a fix for that and havent been able to find a fix except change the cluster. Any Help would be greatly appreciate it very much. Thanks Again

Changing your rims wont affect anything especially becuase you are putting on OEM Mercedes wheels you wont have a problem with that.
