this one.

your VIN is needed to determine which set is best suited for your car.

it is original accessory from mercedes-benz designed for your car.

I do not understand how this works. Is there something about it that causes the car to start remotely?

no. it cannot start the car.

it is an independent heater which also use the same gasoline with your car.

it can start remotely or you can set the timer to let it run on a certain time.

it will warm up the car interior.

you can also use the heater with engine off. it will save you gas.

I just finished up a 2002 s500 and the install was very complicated it involved a new ingnition cylinder and I had to open the cylender and solider on to the computer circuit inside. It has to be controled by a custom transistor controll circuit. If the vehicle has push button start it is less complicated. I would be happy to discuss the installation more in detail by phone.

Thank you,

My wife has a 2006 Mercedes C280. She wants a remote cart starter since we just moved to Indiana. I'm interested in getting one if possible but don't want to screw up anything either. Any info. on this would be helpful. Thanks :-)

Default New mb remote starter

I actually know of a brand new product that is hitting the market as I type. It is a remote start for MB using your factory remote. Right now it only is for 2003 & up E/CLS/SL and 2007 & up S/C Classes. Coming soon is more Classes, diesel and Keyless go. How nice would it be to get in to a WARM car each morning. Heck here in South Florida, a COOL car in the summer! www.mbremotestart.com is more info. GOOD LUCK....
