I need help please with my 1996 C280 USA model. I verified that the two fuses under the hood front of driver are NOT blown, furthermore, I verified that the one fuse in the trunk near the spare tire is also NOT blown. My original Bose Radio always has the red blinking light "ON" regardless if I am driving the car or parked. The red blinking light is PERMANENTLY blinking and I cannot turn on the radio "period" I made no changes recently. This is going on for 3 months now. 4 years ago I replaced the battery at the dealership, so let's rule out the battery. 18 months ago I replaced the electric antenna at the dealer, original equipments, so let's rule out the antenna. I do have the 5 digit radio security code in the glove compartment, my dillema is, that I cannot see the liquid digital radio display, they are mostly blackened, I was not able to read my radio for over 3 years and I got used to that. But now the Radio is locked with the red blinking light forever, so what should I do? I know the code, but I cannot input anything, cause I cannot see the display! Please help.
