glue.... dealership can take them off for you..or a body shop....if you wanna do it yourself be careful of the clear coat....Desolvit Contractors solvent works great! why do you wanna get rid of them?

I just looked at mine and it seems they are glued or stuck on with double-sided stuff they use on a lot of cars
for emblems. Definitely not mechanically attached with bolts or anything. I see people that have taken theirs off
and there are no holes. Sometimes a hair dryer can help, but you've got to be really careful you don't goof up the
paint with too much heat. I use a plastic stick and a hair dryer. A heat gun is too hot. Go slowly.

Park in the sun to get it warm, and use fishing line to "saw" the foam rubber. Many sites online will show how to do it, and there are videos on You Tube. Then, a solvent such as Goof-Off to remove the remaining adhesive.
