Radio Upgrade

Hello everyone..... was wondering if anyone upgraded there radio and did it on there own... just wanted to know how did they do it... are you still using your steering wheel buttons or not.... please tell me what steps you took to upgrade your radio... thank you....

You can install a new radio on your own, but a word of caution before you consider it. Installing radios in newer higher-tech cars such as Mercedes is more complex then your average Honda, etc. Many other components are linked to the car's computer system, and problems can occur if the radio is not installed precisely right. My advice is to find the radio you want, but it, and have the dealer install it for a couple hundred bucks. It will save you a lot of time in the long run. Just my two cents worth from my experiences.
