02' C230 Radio Upgrade with '05 Radio: Will it work?

I have a 2002 C230 and was wondering if anyone knew if I could take a radio from a 2005 or newer C230 and upgrade the radio in my car? Are the wires the same?

only 1999 to 2004 will work 2005 is a diferent system and not compatible
