Questions about the W203 C Class...
Ok, I am looking at purchasing a W203 C-class mercedes at some point in the near future. I am a BMW guy, plus I can fix just about anything as long as someone knows how to explain it to me.
I have searched the site, and still would like to know more.
I am only interested in the 6-speed manual transmission models.
What are the issues I should be looking out for?
What are common problems?
Is there a shop manual that I can get to fix issues with the car?
Can I use a standard OBD2 code reader on the car?
What does a car in good condition go for with less than 50k miles on the clock?
I need to be able to fix the car, not necessarily because I intend to do all the work, but we all have dealerships that diagnose things incorrectly or simply fail to do the work that they say they have done. Be it laziness and not getting it done, or just charging for things that aren't necessary.
If you guys don't fix your own cars, then please direct me to the forum that does. Thanks!
