I have a 10 C300 sport 4matic with 18" wheels and the stock conti low profile tires on them. I'm taking a beating up here in New England with the winter pot holes, I asked my dealer service adviser if I could go with 17" wheel with a higher profile to better handle the winter conditions he "advised" against it and suggested it would make things worse ( 2 blowouts thus far ) I don't believe him, can I do that ? Any help would be much appreciated , Thanks.
