Our kit comes with 2 HID bulbs, 2 ballasts, 2 igniters and 2 wiring harness for Mercedes.
Basic installation guide is included.

Below are some installation photos.

K1: I presume your set replaces the whole internal housing etc, is that right? Or does it replace the current internal bulbs etc and uses the current housing.

I looked on your site but didn't really see what I was looking for. I have a C230 Sport Coupe (2003). A peek at the installation guide would be very helpful.

ndnpimp23, please post pix and let us know more about your experience. I ordered the projector assembly and the kid kit last week.

k1motorsport, what is this clip that ndnpimp23 is talking about? Do I really need it? How bad is the flickkering problem?

I'm not exactly sure since his kit is different from ours.
Our kit includes all the necessary tools for the installation.
No flickering problem. No dealer programming.

vk1, Looking forward to your experience in the install. Some pics would be very nice and perhaps you could time the experience to let us know the timeframe involved. And a few subjective comments on the degree of difficulty or lack thereof.

Thanks for your input.

Good luck,

Tryg

Ok guys. I finally installed the projector headlights and the hid kit that I bought from k1motorsport this past weekend.

It took my brother and I roughly 3 hours to install. Most of the trouble was learninghow to remove the orginal headlight assembly. We had to remove a lot of clips. Once that was done, we had to figure out how to install the HID bulb. We had to drill a big hole on the bulb cover to allow for wiring. We mounted the balast to the bottom of the assembly and it fit pretty well.

One thing everyone should know is thatnot everything will fit like the original assembly. You have to make a few modifications here and there but other than that, everything went well. If you are not too mechanically inclined, I would highly suggest having it professionally installed.

I'm very happy with the outcome of the modification. The assembly and lights make my car look much newer and nicer than before. I'll take some pix this weekend and post them here.
