Just purchased a 2001 c240 .. under 50k and priced at 20,500
Clean Carfax Report, service records and should not need service for another 9,000
1. My homework tells me that's a good deal ?
2. Any tips from you long time owners ?
3. Things to keep eye on this make and year ?
4. Life expectancy ?
5. Purchanced 48mo 100 mile extended warnty ?

Guess what? I goofed. I don't have the C2 package (wish I did). I have C1 and C6 packages.

congrats on ur purchase!
2001 model is the first year model after a facelift from W202 to W203.
therefore, 2001 C-Class tends to have most problems...
if you encounter any problems, have the dealer fix it while you have the warranty.
