Default Potential C-Class Buyer...Saab Trade

Good afternoon all!

I currently own a '04 Saab 9-3 ARC with 90,000 miles that I'm looking to trade on an '05 C230 Kompressor or '06 C280...both with around 50,000 miles.

I've never owned a Mercedes before and don't know anyone who does. Reviews seems to suggest that both are pretty reliable vehicles. My Saab has been good to me, but I've had a major repair recently (under warranty) and with only 10,000 miles left in the warranty, I'm thinking its time to dump it.

Anyone here happen to have had a Saab before and now have a C-Class? If so, what have your experiences been.

In looking at these 2 vehicles, is there anything specific y'all can recommend I really take a good look at before purchasing?

Thanks!!

We have a Saab 93 and a Merc c230. The Saab has lots of problems and the Merc is near perfect.

So... either Merc should be a more reliable. I think you should look over both cars and pick the one that has been accident free and taken care of better.

I almost bought a SLK until I started looking it over and realized that every metal surface on the thing had rust on it. I think it was a Katrina car - go Carmax...
