Please Help 2006 C280 How to clear brake service light

My husband replaced the brake pads and the has tried everything he can to get the service indicator to go out with no success can anyone help. Please

there is no clearing the light. just replace the brake wear sensor and the light will go away. thats it!depending on your car there are differnt brake warnings. "service brake"," brake wear", brake wear means your pads need replacement. service brake means something other than your brake pad wear.
