Hey maskar,
The one that I have on the pic are 225/40 18s all the way. I didn't really have a problem with these but the Chrome. I live up northeast and get a lot of snow and salt ruins my chrome that's why i had to sell it b4 it gets worst. That was the big problem i had. The handling is great, and a lot of clearance. So don't worry about the tires or rims would hit anything, fenders, etc. Well i hope i help you a little bit. here is one site so far http://stores.ebay.com/Wheels-and-Caps

I have a 2005 C240W and I don't like the standard rims. I am looking at 18's and was wondering if you feel that you have sufficient clearance inside the wheel wells with your new rims and tires. Can you let me know?
Also, what difference does it make whether or not the rear tires and rims are wider or not? Handling is not a concern, the rims are more for the look. Any thoughts about this?
Finally, can anyone point me to a good online vendor that stocks rims that fit this car? I like the AMG rims but they are a bit pricey.
Any opinions about which rims you would choose would be great from all members.
