i think it should be installed in such a way that... you can still keep vision of the road while looking at the map, or at least from the corner of the eye.

but that is the most ideal place to install it. cool.

pretty Nice ..

.. but when driving on freeways on high speeds ..etc .. does it shake when it is unfolded ? or feels like a part of the console

Considering that the mount is a custom mount for this unit, It's very solid.
