novice C240 questions
Hello,
I've got a 1999 (T Reg) Mercedes C240 Elegance (110,000 miles) and its a very nice car but have couple of questions. I hope someone can help.
1. When drving the automatic gear is not as smooth as it should be. Sometimes u can hear a thud. So I thought that gear oil may be required but am not able to find the dip-stick for it or know how to change it! I've heard that these cars do not require gear oil change. Surely changing the gear oil regualrly is a fundamental thing?
2. Sometime when accelerating i can feel some viberations. Is this normal? When I bought the car initially it was smooth.
3. I usually warm the car up every morning for about 10 mins. But while warming the car I can feel the car shaking a little. Is this normal?
4. Since I bought the car last year, I haven't had it serviced as the indicator still indicates that next service is 2100 miles. Should I just get the car serviced? The indicator shows a picture of a single spanner so i a B service is required.
I hope someone can help! Sorry for the novice questions.
Thanks in advance.
