whats up everyone, i am new here and have a really stupid question. i rarely even go under the hood of the car ( 1997 c230 4 cylinder) is there supposed to be an engine cover that goes over the intake manifold?

i just got the car back from the shop and it doesnt look right. a pic would be really helpful.
