new member--1st Benz--Ive got a ?
Just picked up a 1995 C220 on Christmas Eve and am loving it.

What's the general consensus about having the pop-out cassette holders in an age when not many people still use cassette tapes. Personally, I would like to find out that somebody is making an in-dash CD changer application to use in that space. Anybody know of any electronics, etc. make to go in place of the cassette holders, or is anyone making kits for adapting electronics to fit in that area? Maybe I should just leave 'em be, but that's such choice real estate in the car's interior, I am loath to leave it filled with something that is utterly useless to me.

Any suggestions?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

you can get a cd holder in place of the tape holder, it looks almost exactly the same as the tape holder except it has 6 long small slots which work pritty much the same as the tape holder, it has a button to pop it out and a little orange square as a cd insicator.
u can also just get a tray to go in the hole instead for just whatever u want to put in their.
i dont know the cd holders part number go to the dealer to find out but the tray to replace in number is #202 683 00 91
**** i even impress myself sometimes :-)
