Air filter, header, pulley, exhaust and ECU are good places to start.

I haven't been able to find any aftermarket upgrades for the new engine yet. Header(s) are not available, and the only thing available on the intake side is a K&N drop in, no CAI is avail yet. If you can find an accesory underdrive pulley it would provide a couple hp at best. Hopefully after a while the aftermarket will catch up with us and starting making parts for the new V6. BTW, nice choice on color combo [sm=groupwave.gif]

RainMan,

Thanks for the help, I have been running into the same problem. Nobody has anything out yet for our car. I contacted a RennTech dealer today and he didn't know either. Everything out there is still geared towards the Kompressor Models. I guess it will take some time for it them to come out. I am going to try and contact Kleeman inc. tommorow, and see is they got anything in the works. I have to agree, nice choice on the paint pick..!...It looks like we've got the identical one..ha.!..Except mine is a 6-speed. Man..!...be carefull with that interior....that ash interior is high maintaince...scuffs are easy to come by, I have to make sure I get in and out slowly, I have scuffed up the doors a lil already. The dealership gave me some "laquer thinner" - 100%Virgin, this stuff works great on the doors and most of the interior for scuffs and scratches(something to keep in mind). I am shopping around my self for a good 38% tint, got quoted at $279, what about you?....You getting a better deal were your at?...Whta percent you thinking about going?....

Mike

K1,

Thanks, your the first one to give me some sort answer. I am haveing alot of trouble trying to find products from Renntech that are for a 06' C230 though, do you think it still just needs some time. Every one seems to have the Kompressor option and no 2.5L 06' variants out for their products. Is the same for the air filters and ecu's?

V/R

Yes, you should give some time since 06 model is fairly new.
I have a customer waiting for parts for 06 Range Rover Sport and nothing's available yet.
Replacement air filter should be fine. Not many MB owners do use CAI.

I haven't tinted ours yet because I bought the car during the winter and it was too cold. Last time I tinted a car during the winter it came out like crap because they had to dry it with heat guns to keep it from falling off. Winters in Ohio suck! Anyway, I'm moving to Virginia beach in two weeks and I'm going to get it done when I get down there. I'm also looking at around 35%. Should look nice against the white.

No problem. K&N should be sufficient.

Hey SoCal Mike this is SoCal Eric!

I too just bought a '06 C230. I went with Granite Grey on Ash. Very interesting color sometimes grey, sometimes blue and in direct sun almost green.

I agree the Ash interior is going to be a labor, I have 2 kids!

Whats wrong the 201 ponies not enough for you?

Oh well, good to see another C230 enthusiast here in S. Cal!

By the way I am almost 3 months in and about 750 miles. Totally pleased thus far - no issues.

-Eric
