Just got a 2005 C230K and i LOVE it!! It's my first "New" car, and I just have a few silly questions.
My car is still under the factory warranty... Do I have to get all the routine maintnence and the services done with an MB dealer? Can I use my old corner garage? How much$$ to MB services run?

Oh yeah... and my car doesn't have xenons and I wish it did. Is there some kind of upgrade kit available?

 

The answer is no, you don't have to go to a stealership to have the routine things done. You can have it done anywhere, but my suggestion would be to document the work done with receipts, etc. so that IF there is a warranty issue, and you return to a dealer for work, you can show proof of oil changes, etc. Also remember, some repair shops, garages, independents, etc. don't know how to reset the service indicator. You can do it yourself with instructions here on this website which is easily found by searching previous posts. Hope this helps.
