Hey guys,

I'm new to these forums and Mercedes itself. I was planning on getting an 2003 c230Kompressor(1.8L) coupe/hatchback. It has about 100 000 KM/ 63 000 miles. 6 speed transmission.It has the evolution packages with 17inch alloys leather and sunroof.

I was wondering if you guys have encountered any major problems with this car? I don't care much about speed and I won't be racing or anything like that. Just wanted a luxury coupe to get me around town.

It was between this and a 323ci/328i.

Should I go for a 2002 2.3L one? any difference. My main concern is problems with the car not maintainance (i can cover the service A and B) I won't be doing any major modifications except the stereo(i heard it was really weak).


Please let me know what you think!! be harsh!! hahah Still in university and don't wanna waste my hard earned money.

I have a 2003 C230 K coupe, has 136,000 KM, have had no serious issues with it other than regular maintenance.

I really like the car, put best tires you cn affort on it and you will be happy. I have Pirelli P4, they handle great, are quiet and wear very well.
