New to theNorthern VA Fredericksburg area and needhelp finding a good MB mechanic. Trying to stay away from the stealership! Someone who doesn'tmind sharing a lil knowledge with the small things and won't try to kill you on the big stuff.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

 

One place I have found is in harrisonburg, called European Autohaus.
Those guys are really nice there and actually treat their customers like human beings.
I live in nova, but sometimes take my cars there even though they are 2 hours away.

Don't go to Curry's those guys are as bad if not worse than the dealers.

Id also look into Kestermans in Old Town, been taking the old 190 E in there since 1998. Family owned, great crew.

 

Its also called "Foreign Car Service" we just colloquially refer to the shop as the owners last name

I often go to a place in Vienna, VA. Silverstar Motors, they don't try to rip you off, will actually say things like you might need new brakes in 5,000 miles but you can wait, and the owner, Peter, even suggests what you don't need done sometimes. Relatively small shop and you can go back and talk to the mechanics working there. I highly recommend them.
