hey guys i have leased a 2007 c230. i have a radio with single cd and six cd changer in glove box. i want to purchase this navigation unit here in the link below. can anyone help me out? will this unit work? if so do i need cables harnesses? can i nstall it myself? it looks to be a european version but i dont know. help me out please! thanks

I would advice against the MB nav all together it is not the most user friendly, you may end up with an after market nav (GARMIN or PIONEER), that is way better (won't fit as nice though in the MB console) ..

 

THIS EURO COMMAND WILL ACCEPT THE COMMAND CD/ DVD? someone told me it would only be a fancy cd player and that the navigation would not work? please help!

 

that comand can be use for your model.

you must have audio 50? (your vin can be helpful).

that comand can play navigation dvd, music cd, cd movie, mp3 cd, mp3 dvd, and can integrate with your cd changer.

 

... twism doesn't specify his location... if he lives in the US / Canada, he has a US spec W203 C-class. He can get this Euro spec DVD comand installed in his car, but then he will NOT be able to use navigation. Simply because the US navigation DVD doesn't work with these Euro units.

Also, the facelifted W203 / W209, W164, facelifted A/B-class DVD comands can NOT play movie DVDs by itself. One would need an additional TV tuner and hook it up to the Euro comand. Then add a DVD player to the TV tuner, and only then one will be able to watch movie DVDs on the comand's screen.
