Is my car OBD 2 compliant ?
Hi . I have a UK spec C180K 2003.
I have bought a OBD2 Car Computer interface, for some reason it does not want to "talk" to the PC. I have no comms issues as it is registering the car's battery voltage as feedback.
Is my interface unit a little ahead of the car ?
Thanks in advance.
Steve.

Will only read those things related to the engine / emissions. Nothing else on the car. If you want that, you'll need a snap-on mt2500 plus all the correct firmware / software upgrades, cables, etc. Expect to pay about 1,500. Or carsoft with cables and a laptop with an rs232 port - expect about 1,500 total. Or the Star system used at dealers - I think over $25,000.
