Ok so i'm so new to mercedes and wow. They use so much oil and thy're just all out different than the BMW's I work on. All I can say is Torxs bits FTW! lol

So I just bought a C280 and I'm trying to remove the head while its still in the car. Hard work but im getting to it.

The car runs like poo and idles below 500rpmand kinda clunks around. It's getting plenty fuel but it feels like i'm missing some cylinder power. Like i'm running on 5 instead of 6. I looked at the head and can't really see anything wrong so i'm taking off the head to clean her up and then diagnose and try to figure out whats goin on... Do you guys any clue as to what else I my need Before I go in?

Whats the easiestway to take the head off while the engine is left in the car? Whats the easiest way to get around this timing chain?
