I have a C200k Wagon 2002 model and I disconnected the battery and when i reconnected the battery the esp fault appeard on the screen. How do you reset the fault? It was also serviced not at a mb dealer how do you reset the service indicator because it keeps coming up?

I have a 2002 C230 coupe whose battery just took a dump. I replaced the battery, I also now have that ESP not available message. grrr. Will this error reset itself?

you have to initialize the steering angle sensor because the memory is lost during battery removal (no power).

steer fully from end to end with engine running.
