I have a C Class 220 cdi 2003 and the air con has stopped working I got a local auto electrician to see if it needed re-charging but he told me there is no power to the compressor and would prob have to take it to a dealer are there any checks I could do myself before I bite the bullit and take it to my local dealer????

Any help would be appreciated
