Hi guys,

i apologize in advance for probably the silly question- please help the lady .
My car is a C 200 Compressor Avangarde, 2001. A malfunction displayed a few days ago to change the brake pads. So I drove to the closest workshop, which is 100 km away. The guys there changed the pads and the car is OK now- what they forgot to do is to clear the malfunction and now the message to visit a workshop keeps showing every time I start the car. As I really would not like to drive there again, I wondered if there is a way to stop this message appearing by myself. I do not have an owner`s manual unfortunately. If anyone has the know- how, it would just be great!!!
I just want to know how the message is cleared/ stopped.
