Yes, it will be fine till Wed... and for a while beyond. Since you need a brake job, you may want to consider going to a much cheaper generic brake shop rather than an M-B dealership or independent M-B mechanic. No, I don't know if that was even your intent. There's nothing about M-B brake jobs that stores like Merchant, Sears or Wal-Mart can't tackle. You'll get royally hosed by an M-B dealership to do a brake job. They usually charge two to three times as much for the same service because they think they're "special."

I had the same about 3 months ago, they will last for a long time, but you will need a new sensor, pads and a fitting kit, all together the cost would be £50 GBP or a $100 USD or under as car parts in the US are very nicely priced. The parts are not expensive!, and there is only one sensor on each axle (ie fron or rear) on the later c class series (from 2000/2001 face lifted)

My pads when replaced probably had 3mm left which would be good for some time depending on the conditions - I drove on mine for a further 500 to 800 (2 weeks city) miles apx and the brake performance was perfect. If your MB is auto like mine, also condider how u drive, road conditions etc. you may need to replace sooner.

They're a peice of cake to replace, and you can buy Mercedes PADS from the dealer at a fair price, Ideally you will need a fitting kit, but you can reuse the old pins ones providing they are not badly rotted (surface corrosion is ok - just clean them up and re-grease with brake grease).

Best of Luck
