Okay, I guess I will just replace the pump. When I buy the pump will everything come with it that I'll need besides tools(sealants, gaskets, ect.). And what tools are needed to do the job. Torque wrench?

Just an update:
I got an estimate to replace the water pump on my C280, $630.00!!!! That definitely helps me to make my decision to tackle this job myself. I've done several searches to find out what tools and supplies I will need but haven't come up with much. It seems to me that the toughtest part is removing the belt and water pump pulley. Are any special tools needed for this? I plan on taking step by step photos of the job so that others that might be experiencing similar problems will have a guide. I searched online for a water pump and found one for $144.39 and free shipping! Here's the site http://www.autohausaz.com. If anyone has a complete list of what I need to complete the job, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Jason

it's a relatively easy job.
i've done a few times on the roadside with very limited tools and no problem at all.
there are remanufactured parts which costs a fraction.
you can do it. remember the bolts/screw position. some are long and shorter than others.
