Default LOUD breaks

Since ive purchased my car, the breaks have made an extremly loud squealing noise after hard use on a hill or 30min of driving. Happens during all weather. All mechanics have told me is, "its break dust" or "your breaks are getting to hot". The rotors and pads just passed inspection with flying colors, but how do i stop this embarrasing noise?

Default RE: LOUD breaks

My 99 C280 had new rotors, pads etc, the originals squealed on hard stops so do the new ones, There is an outside possibliity the pads are dirty or there isn't enought anti squeal compound on them. When I had the new ones put in they squealed all the time. I took the car back and they removed the pads cleaned them and put a lot of anti squeal, now they relatively quiet except on a hard stop and sometimes a big squeally in the rain like tonight. Nature of the beast. Mercedes brakes are a lot quieter then the Bimmer I had before and the Mercedes are a lot dustier also. Get ceramic pads if you want to stop the dust and squeal, but don't they need to be really hot in order to work well. There are street ceramics also, but I read mixed review. Your situation is the nature of disc brakes.
