As the title says, I'd like to know more about them. My wife and I are looking for another car for her, and we're both interested in a C230K hatchback. Are they reliable? How much can you work on it yourself? I typically do my own oil changes and most maintenance work. Also, what sort of aftermarket is there for these cars?

No personal experience, however, whenever I want to know what owners think of a certain model I go to Edmunds Click on "used cars", then choose the year and model, then "research prices and specs" then I read 'consummer ratings" and "J.D. Powers" initial quality survey.

 

Well, the reviews I see are sort of bipolar. One person loves theirs and says it's wonderful, then someone else says it's the biggest POS they've ever owned and they would happily trade it for a moped. I just want to be sure I'm not getting into something that's going to cost me a fortune to maintain or break down all the time.
