Hi.. I have a problem with a 2002 C220 Diesel Auto in that when the central locking is activated the LHS passenger door does not lock. All the other doors lock and the alarm is enabled. There also seems to be no way of manually locking the door either.

Please can someone suggest where to start looking for the fault? I've checked all the fuses.

does it lock with the in car switch,if not it can be the lock unit this are none with the faulty locks,usally they bounce wen opreating central locking system...

 

sorry wat chassis is it,is it w203 if so than follow as above if its w202 than need to check the vaccum or try and hear air noise wen opreating the lockin system...

 

check the door jam switch. but you said its not working with the key blade either? if its not working with the blade then could be a bad lock actuator

 

Thanks for the responses.. got the door panel off and it appears to be a seized actuator.
