Interior center rear view mirror
I just noticed my little amber light or vanity light I think it's called is no longer lit? If that bulb goes will I have to replace the entire mirror itself or can the bulb be changed? I am still under warranty but I do not know if that is covered if the entire mirror needs to be replaced just for that tiny bulb.

Hey mello> here's how you get that thing fixed for no charge. You go to your dealer and when you walk up to the service writer, you give them your saddest face. Remember, your saddest face ever. Then you whine about it for a while and tie him up on this thing for several minutes. Don't ASK if it's covered under your warranty, just say something like....you know....that bulb shouldn't have burned out so quickly or something like that. Keep the sad look and I guarantee you they will either put a new mirror on it or take care of you. Oh yeah, it also helps to tell them that you bought a Mercedes because you thought it was such a great vehicle with an excellent service record! And now this! Ha! Try it!

Haha yeah I think I used up all my brownie points with the petrol filler tube that was replaced. I will try the super sad face or have my kid talk about how cool the light looked at night I think that one should do the trick. lol..
