when you replace a Sam module, they recommend that you replace both front and back Sam's, and to order the service kit, which is only a single wire factory made, to plug into two different connectors on the front Sam module. It connects from one connecter in #4 port to # 12 port on another, then both Sam's have to be reprogrammed, the wire is to make sure you don't have problems starting the vehicle because of the security system.
