so i have a 2012 c250 i have a tip tronic question or plus minus whatever do you downshift???? lets say your on third gear the light turns left do you stop while on D3 or shift down when i tried the car got stalled wen is stopped on d3 nothing happened but idk seemed weird to me so do i down**** if i do please explain how

 

Not exactly sure what you mean in 3rd gear light turns left?? the car should automatically shift down to first gear when you come to a stop. you will then have to upshift manually via tipshift to shift gears or go back to D. depending how slow you go in 3rd gear the car will stay in 3rd gear unless you red line the rpms or stop. so usually you can leave it it in any gear you want to. it will automatically change gears at redline or when stopping and maybe even full throttle kick down it might downshift.

 

I mean your on 3rd gear the light turns red so you have to stop do you downshift or stop without doing anything. Or do u go back to 1st gear as you approach a stop-thanks again
