Hi,

I have a 2001 C240 which sounds like a spark lead is arcing (arking) I have ordered leads which arrive tomorrow however the engine light has come on , could the leads be the cause of this?

This is my first Mercedes so I am just getting to grips with faults, I believe that arcing leads is quite common?

yes the wires are usually the problem. and are common
