Default how would a kompressor work as a family car?

I am seriously considering a Mercedes as a family car - I have a wife and 2 young children, so it needs to be a 4 door. How do the kompressors ride? How quiet, etc? I'd love to hear more about it. I am trying to stay in the 20-23k range. I found a nice blue kompressor that was interesting to me, but have also considered an 03-05 escalade or navigator. Please let me know what you all think!

It rides like a Mercedes Benz. IMO the rear seat is a little small for constantly hauling little ones in and out in large car seats. My kids are 7 and 12 and it is no problem. However, avoid the Ash colored interior. If my kids so much as look at the car I need to clean the interior.

A C-class vs. an Escalade/Navigator? Seems like apples and oranges to me, but hey...what do I know?
I have a kompressor C-class....an '05.....ASH INTERIOR, thank you.......and it doesn't need cleaning every day.
Even with a dog. But of course, I have no kids. There's the diff! Ha! So, yes, you can carry kids in the back, but
as no-mo says, it's not what you'd call "roomy", just OK. Trunk not all that big either. If you want SPACE, get
a bigger car/SUV. That would be my take. On the other hand, consider this....if it makes a difference to you....my
-05 4cyl. kompressor will get 34.5mpg on the highway. Yikes. Not too bad, huh. I wonder what that Escalade would
get? Hmmmmmmm.
