Default How to remove stuck rotors?

Hi Any one know a way to remove stuck front brake rotors?
I removed the hex screw but the rotor just does not come off.
I tried using a mallet hitting as hard as I can on the innerside of the rotor near the edge with no luck. There was not enough room to really hitting the rotor very hard.
I know rotors onsome Japanese car havetwo threaded holes on the rotor such that if you screw two bolts intothem, the bolts will push out the stuck rotor. But on the Mercedes rotors that are no such provision.
Also tried a blow torch but no luck.
I was trying to change the pad and rotor on my 98 C280 but the rotors just won't come off. So I ended up having only the pads changed.

I haven't changed them on my 320 yet, but on other cars like my bmw I would use a small sledge hammer and hit them near to the center.
Basically what is holding them on is rust. A couple good whacks should free them up.

ha! I just sold my 93 e36 after over 8 years / 140k of driving, had 163k when I sold it.
I hardly had to spend any money fixing it.
Sure I replaced some parts, but I did most of the work myself and never had any big bills with it.

spray PB Blaster or Kroil on it (not WD 40), wait an hour or overnight, then whack it with a big mini-sledghammer. You may need to buy a bigger sledgehammer - a pound or two makes a huge difference in the force applied. They can be had at Harbor Freight for cheap. Wear safety glasses.

The rotors are most likely worn anyway and should be replaced not cut. If after a few whacks with a three pound dead blow hammer the rotors are still stuck you should abandon this method the front axle bearings won't be too happy. A two jaw puller on the outside of the rotor and some penetrating oil should do the trick.Throw the rotor away. Before reinstalling new rotors clean the hub of all rust and coat with anti-sieze compound. They can't be any worse that rotors on a Ford Expedition and family members. These are a complete and total nightmare where you have to throw the entire rotor hub and bearing assembly in the trash after you press them out

soak in liquid wrench, then soak some more. start to hit at the center and workyour way out, as if you were cleaning a CD, same directions. Make sure parking brake is not engaged.
