The V6 in 1999 C280 makes 194 hp @ 5,800rpm , and torque is 195 lb-ft @ 3,000- 4,000 rpm
The 230 kompressor from the same model year actually had more torque then the V6, 200 lb-ft @ 2,500-4,800 rpm.
But it only makes 185 hp @5,300rpm
Euro versions were rated at 197 hp, I think....
the 205 hp version you mentioned was used in E-class and S-class, and none of those were sold in the U.S.
