Help!! Water flooded the foot rest of the passengers rear side!🌊
Hi all,
My Mercedes C280 2006 flooded this morning as you can see in these photos. I have been trying to identify where the water came in but at no avail.
here are the observations i took1. Rear passanger Foot rest was flooded in the morning2. Scooped the water with a cup and a sponge until it was dry3. It didn't rain but the foot rest flooded again as I was driving4. Unclogged all the front windshield drains and thoroughly cleaned to make sure to remove debris5. Only the foot rest is the thing that is mostly wet6. Drove car and again it flooded7. Cleaned the seals of the back rear door8. No flooding in trunk9. No flooding in drivers side10. Removed the carpet and found flooding in the passengers sear.
but don't know if its water that moved all the way to the front.
11. Need to have a drain so that the water that is between the carpet and the floor can be removed
Please see the photos and any help is really really appreciated.
Hi i have more photos of what could seem the source of the leak. I isolated the issue and it seems that it is coming from the front bottom of the passengers side
Is there a non invasive way to1. Remove the clog from the water drains. Maybe with compressed air i have a shop vac with 3hp will that work? Also i have a mini compressor but don't know how powerful that would be or set it up
2. To remove all the water in the floor of the car that is still standing. I want to prevent removing all the carpet because it will be a huge hassle.
3. Is it possible to drill a drain hole for the water to come out and then seal it with silicone or with something? I just don't want the water to stay in the floor pan.
