I have a problem with my 2003 C230K. It has a manual 6 speed box. When engine is running but the car is not moving yet, periodically there is a significant or hard stop resistance on the shift stick when I am trying to go from neutral to the first gear or reverse. (Not sure but it may happens more frequently when the car is still cold). When I am experiencing shifting resistance, I can go into the 3rd gear first (but not into 1st, 2nd, or reverse) and then, without releasing the clutch, into any gear with no resistance at all. Resistance usually last for some time and then goes away…

I brought the car to the dialer twice but with my luck it was working fine those days. So dealer said he cannot fix what he does not see… I have only 4 month before warranty will expire so I don’t want to wait for too long.

Did anybody have the same problem or may be there is a TSB?
