Default Help appreciated - C240 Sputtering at idle, but never dies

Vehicle is a 2005 C240 Wagon 4matic with 53k miles.
- No problem starting.
- No CEL on.
- Oxygen sensor, purge valve and filler neck recently replaced

Issue: Car accelerates fine, but when I stop the car starts to sputters to the point that I think it is going to die, but all of the sudden it lunges forward as if it has "caught its breath". It never dies and it happens at every other stop. Odd. Any help with diagnosing would be much appreciated. I took it to the dealer and they said nothing is wrong with it after doing a software update. It's still happening.

I have seen some other posts about a vacuum leak under the airbox, changing spark plugs, wires, but I have not had this done, yet.
