Hi,

Does anyone know of why a C230 would "sputter" it seems as if the fuel is chokeing and the idle is rough

 

I'm having the same problem you mention, have you fixed it yet ? I took my car to a Mercedes dealer a few weeks ago and they said it was an oil leak that was dripping (oil) on a sensor that regulates the idle speed and the repair would be $1080 ??

I wonder if there's someone here who knows how to fix it or someone who had this problem and was able to have it fixed for a reasonable amount.

wat model year if its 2003 on words than u have vaccum leak under air box its pipe which has a split and its leakin vaccum from inlet monifold.....
